A teen that resides in Brooklyn has been accepted to four Ivy-League Universities. Who is this person you ask? She goes by the name of Marie-Fatima Hyacinthe. This Haitian-American has been accepted into Harvard, Yale, University of Pennsylvania and Brown University. According to her she says that, "Harvard has a very strong African-American community so I think I'm prepared." See now, hearing stories like this makes me feel as though there is hope for the African American community. We're making our way up without forgetting who we are! Keep it up girl, and best off luck to you. See you at the top!
